The little old donkey

Name:Enid Blyton

Book review: The little old donkey.

Neddy was an old grey donkey. He belonged to Farmer Meadows, and he had lived with him for many, many years. Each day he took the milk around for the farmer, and stopped at the door the farmer asked what milk was wanted, and poured it out from the big cans on Neddy's back.

But now Neddy was old so the farmer decided to sell it away. Neddy was very sad, it did not want to be sold away. One day, the farmer was sicked. He couldn't delivered the milk with Neddy. He was very worried. Neddy knew about it so it decided to deliver the milk by itself.

So Neddy go around the town to deliver milk and came back with empty cans and money.

The farmer was very happy and touching so he decided not to sell Neddy.

I like this story because Neddy was a clever donkey. Neddy was very loyal to the farmer and the farmer was very kind too. The farmer was grateful to Neddy so he didn't sold the donkey in the end. I found it very meaningful.
