The title of this book is Amanda pig,First Grader by Jean Van Leeuwen On the first day of school,Amanda and her brother,Oliver took bus to school.At the bus,she met her best friend,Lollipop.Amanda felt excited and she can't wait for the first grade.But Lollipop was different, she felt nervous.She was scared that she cannot find the room.Once they got of the bus,Oliver took them to Room 6.Their teacher is Mrs.Mary Ann Pig.Amanda 's teacher gave them job.The bell ring and it is time for recess.They went on the big slide and big swing and even big climbing bar.After recess,Mrs.Mary Ann Pig let each of them choose a book.Amanda took one about princess.he don't know how to read those advance words.She look at the pictures and made up her own story. Lollipop pass out papers and it was their homework.Mrs.Mary Ann Pig wrote words on the blackboard,she started writing words and adding new ones.Amanda's classmate,Sam knew all the words and Lollipop knewn seven words, only Amanda knew two of the words.After a few hours learning the words,the class of pupils decided to go to the library.Amanda choose a princess book again.She begin to read and she finish the whole book.I like this book because it was interesting and fun to read.

Peter Pan brought Wendy,Michael and John.They came accross a villian named Captain Hook.Captain Hook is about just to catch Wendy,Michael and John but Peter Pan saved them and went back to their own village.

I like this story because we will just be at the same age.

The Twits

 The Twits are written Roald Dahl. It is about two people, Mr & Mrs Twit. In the story, there are a few monkeys and a few other creatures.


Mr & Mrs Twit like to play tricks on each other. They have four monkeys which they teach them how to do everything upside down. They even teach them how to drink water upside down, eat upside down and even teach them how to play football upside down! There is a bird called the Rolly Polly Bird which rescued the monkeys from the Twits. Mr Twit likes to eat bird pie on Wednesday. He will place sticky glue on his big dead tree and wait till noon for the birds to come. Mrs Twit will cook the birds and make the bird pie, they will then eat together. One day, when the Twits are out, the Rolly Polly Bird came to the rescue. The monkeys and the Rolly Polly Bird use sticky glue and paint everything upside down in the Twits' house to take revenge and let them feel giddy. When the Twits are back, they immediately stood on their heads. They have the shrinks and disappear.

I like this story because it is funny and exciting. The story is also trying to tell us not to abuse animals and birds. I am looking forward to reading more of the books written by the Roald Dahl.

Neddy was an old grey donkey.He belonged to Farmer Meadows, and he had lived with him for many, many years. Each day he took the milk around for the farmer, and stopped at the door the farmer asked what milk was wanted, and poured it out from the big cans on Neddy's back.

But now Neddy was old so the farmer decided to sell it away. Neddy was very sad, it did not want to be sold away. One day, the farmer was sicked. He couldn't delivered the milk with Neddy. He was very worried. Neddy knew about it so it decided to deliver the milk by itself.

So Neddy go around the town to deliver milk and came back with empty cans and money.

The farmer was very happy and touching so he decided not to sell Neddy.


I like this story because Neddy was a clever donkey. Neddy was very loyal to the farmer and the farmer was very kind too. The farmer was grateful to Neddy so he didn't sold the donkey in the end. I found it very meaningful.

I think 'beast quest Kragos and Kildor the two-headed demon is a fantastic novel there are many part that are scary and some part are very funny.The novel is so nice to read that you will not want to put it down until you have finish reading it

This book is about a father named Chuan Poon who wished to have a male child but instead he had six daughters who are lazy. He believed that he was cursed because when he was in his twenties, he urinated on a shrine and didn't offer a joss stick in return. So, he went to the temple with his his wife during a festival to pray for the curse to be lifted.

However, he had secretly consumed a meal of rice and beef curry before the visit. He was actually supposed to be on a vegetarian's diet. At the temple, he prayed to the shrine that he urinated on and asked for luck and not curse. While praying, he heard a spooky voice of a male child asking him to be nice and generous for one month. Then maybe, he would get a male child. He was very shocked.

That was when he ran to town and brought some food for the family. The family was confused because it is the first time that he had brought food home. After one month, he got used to being nice and generous. Suddenly, he realised that he had to go to the temple and pray to the shrine, and tell the shrine that he had been nice and generous. While doing that, suddenly, his phone rang.

He was surprised to hear from his wife saying, "I'M GIVING OUT A BABY!"

He was shocked to hear that from his wife and quickly went to the hospital. When he reached, he went to the room and smiled when he saw a male baby in his wife's arms!

I like this book because it is heartwarming. It teaches me that it is important to be nice and generous if you want something good in return. It is also important to respect shrines by not stepping on them.

I would like to recommend this book to everyone because it is a good and heartwarming story that will make you feel happy.

The 'Secret School' is about a school that has been closed in a remote town. One of the students of this school by the name of Ida Bidson, was eager to be a teacher someday. But with her school being shut down, it was impossible for her to continue her studies and to pursue her dream, because that is the only school in her town. Secretly she open the one-room school and acted as a teacher even though she was just fourteen years old.

I like the story because it tells us not to loose hope in reaching for our dream. I hope that I will also have the same courage as her.

Mr Ming sold marvelous mooncake and Madam Moneybag wants the recipe for the mooncake but Mr Ming refused.

And Alvin went in the room and saw the Black Hands strike and the Black Hands strike took out his gun and point it at Alvin and that time Azizul bringing a white tiger and pass it to Alvin and he took the tiger towards Black Hand and black hand move back and use the gun point it at the tiger and four children were also scared.

This story is about a girl who haved stepped on a josstick accidentally and did not say sorry. One day while this girl was walking home she did not see a josstick on the floor, so she accidentally stepped on it.

while she was alone at home, she kept hearing footsteps and hearing angry groaning behing her, but when she turned around there was nothing there.Form that dayonwards still still kept hearing the same thing, but suddenly when she was walking home out of the blue, she tripped and fell,to her surprise the fall was serious.then started to realize that some weird things are starting to happen to her.

She quickly consulted a medium immediately. The medium then explained everything that happened to her, he told her that she accidentally stepped onto a josstick which led her to a furious male spirit, and this spirit followed her home. The medium drove away this spirit, and now is resting in peace.I think this is a reminder not to step on any jossticks or you will get into deep trouble!

On their way to school Harry and George see a sign outside of their school saying "2nd Annual Invention Convention - 1st prize 1 day as the school principal". But then they get denied the chance to enter and get stuck in the study hall for the whole day.

The night before the convention Harry and George go backstage where all the inventions are held and meet another student named Malvern. Harry and George then start to destroy all the inventions except Malvern's who promises not to tell anyone.

Harry aks Malvern what his invention does. Malvern tells him it is the pasty 2000 and it turns 1D objects into live things.

The next day the convention was a disaster and Malvern dobs Harry and George in.
Harry and George both get an after school detention and were told not to leave the room or they would get suspended. They leave the room and copy their comic book they made and the pasty 2000 invention turns all the things they drew to life.

The talking toilets eat up all the teachers and then Captain Underpants, the hero of the comic, saves the day feeding the talking toilets cafeteria food so the toilets would throw up all the teachers. Once again Captain Underpants saves the day.

When they all arrive at the theatre they walked quietly and fast. Big Barry Baker and his friend was sitting on the first row. The pantomime started they all laughed . the lights went on and the fairy godmother calls for help then Big Barry Baker went quiet.

The fairy Godmother chose Big Barry Baker. Big Barry Baker was amazed. he became the ugly sister then sang with Cinderela sat on the Cinderela'coach, went on a ball and Cinderela even gave him a KISS. but soon the pantomime was over Big Barry Baker want back to the bus .then suddenly the Fairy Godmother gave them all some sweet.
